When the animals were allowed to speak for a day

The story tells of two Young sisters, who are allowed to go an holiday to their grandmother in the countryside. The grandmother lives on a beautiful farm, which is surround by fruittrees and lot of colourful flowers. She has a lot of animals on her farm, which she lovingly takes care of. In the evening, the grandmother tells their grandchildren a bedtime story about animals, which were allowed to speok the language of the people for a day. On a warm summer day all the animals of the world suddenly felt the urge to go to a certain place, from which some of them already had dreamed of many times. They didn´t know where to go and why they should go there. But they relied simply on their gutfeeling. Leaders decided, that only the strongest should go to this place. A long journy began and none of the animals knew, what they can eypect of this special place. Some were afraid in the big dark woods but due to the tight bonding between the animals fear disappeared even faster. They finally reached the mysterious place. It was already dark, but the blossoms were surprisingly still widely opened.
Everywhere were small Drops of dew which shined like little rainbows. They radiated from flower to flower, from leaf to leaf, from tree to tree and from branch to branch. The animals than had a very unusual experience. They were given the gift to be able to speak the language of the people for one day after. The animals should tell people about their fears and concerns and about the bad animal housing. They should tell people, that they feels pain and agony like them and that they ....

The autor Franz Spengler expresses impressively, that animals just as people are vulnerable and have feelings.

Since a crucial experience with his tomcat Felix, the autor eat vegetarian/vegan
